With gorgeous views, excellent service, and a beautiful spa, even if a stay here doesn't fit in your budget, it's still worth a visit. Grab a cup of coffee in the lounge and take a stroll on the beautiful grounds.
I've only been treated to dinner at Watermarc once, but it made such an impression I recommend it to all my friends looking for somewhere special. Their menu is absolutely fantastic and the ambiance is so romantic.
Gelato Paradiso is one of my all-time favorite places in Laguna Beach. They make the best gelato I've ever eaten outside of Italy, and serve it in their mouth-watering homemade waffle cones. This is such a fantastic date-night option — my husband and I love grabbing a cone here and then walking across the street to the beach.
Las Brisas is one of the prettiest, most popular restaurants in Laguna. The view is absolutely unbeatable and the food is delicious. While Mexican food tends to be more on the casual side, at Las Brisas it is elevated to something so special! Perfect for a romantic dinner after strolling around the city.
If wineries are your thing, this one should definitely be on your itinerary during your visit to Laguna Beach. The wine is great and the staff know their stuff. Taste a few different grapes with your honey, and then buy a bottle to enjoy with a picnic on the beach.
Laguna Beach was largely made famous by its amazing Sawdust Festival. People come from all over Orange County (and beyond) to enjoy this special event. Easily one of the best date-night options around if you and your special someone happen to be art lovers.
Along with the Sawdust Festival, the annual Pageant of the Masters event is one of the coolest and most well-known novelties in Laguna Beach. Even if you're not an art connoisseur, you will be able to enjoy the creativity and talent of the actors who literally bring art to life. If you're able to visit during the 8 weeks it takes place over summer, buy your sweetie tickets for their birthday and you'll be earning yourself some major brownie points.
If you've been inspired by the Pageant of the Masters and are looking for more art to admire together, Drizzle Art Studios is a great place to start! The studio is beautiful, as is the art, and if you're lucky, you'll be able to enjoy an appetizer and a drink with the artist himself!
If you're looking for a nice place for a stroll hand-in-hand, the trail at Heisler park is exactly what you're hoping for. It winds along the coast with breathtaking views of the beach, and is a great spot to catch the sunset. It's one mile there and one back, making it an easy walk for all levels of fitness.
Crystal Cove is a very well known beach in Laguna, and one of my favorite places to catch the sunset. Grab a cup of coffee (or a milkshake from the famous Shake Shack), stroll down to the beach, and soak in the beautiful scenery together.
Although most of the beaches in Laguna tend to get pretty crowded, Table Rock is one of the quieter options, so if you're looking for a beautiful place that is a bit more secluded, this is it. Grab your honey and spend an afternoon soaking up the sun here.
