We loved ve the trails heading out of Traverse City heading north. So much to see and so much agriculture along the way. A couple great little towns to pull into and try their fudge and have a meal. Love this part of Michigan.

Lovely, well-maintained trail. I picked it up behind Oryana, natural Foods and cafe, the best store of its kind I've seen anywhere in the state. I enjoyed all the beautiful sumac fronds-a splash of color at the end of winter is heartening.

This paved trail runs from east of Traverse City, through town, and north to Sutton’s Bay. Excellent views, very safe, lots of food choices and rest stops along the way. Get out and ride one of the best trails in the Midwest!
