This was a very informative, interesting, tour. The guide, Joe, is incredibly well informed and has personal connections to the site which make the tour that much more insightful. His perspective on the facility and the philosophy employed there was particularly enlightening.

It’s spooky by nature but not intentionally. You can imagine what happened in the past while walking thru the brick lined tunnels

There are many old photos with descriptions as you walk around. You may certainly walk around as I did and get a feel for the place as it was. But you are experiencing it as it is as well.
